A man discovered that the African dog shelter charity he had spent years fundraising thousands of pounds for was nothing but a fraud. The operation preyed on donors' compassion, and the animals in its care had actually been abused and neglected—mistreated deliberately to tug at heartstrings and squeeze out more money. What he had believed was lifesaving work turned out to be a cruel deception built on the suffering of the very creatures he had tried to help.
