Meanwhile, further south, the Fraserburgh crew responds to a distress signal from a trawler that has run aground with four fishermen aboard. In Mudeford, Dorset, the crew hurries to assist a small inflatable boat battling 40mph winds as it tries to return to the harbor. On the Kent coast, a bystander alerts authorities about a capsized catamaran located a mile offshore. In Rhyl, a Christmas Day emergency call about someone in the water reveals an unexpected twist.
