Episode Overview

Nestled in the Hauraki Gulf, this storied island seems the perfect escape for a growing family—until the dream of building there collides with reality. With no ferry service for supplies and strict conservation rules, every nail and beam must be barged in, and every decision faces scrutiny. What should be a serene sanctuary becomes a test of patience and resourcefulness, as the family discovers that paradise comes at a steep logistical price.
