In the series opener, we meet the hedonistic Dr. William P. Rush, who is trying to find his footing after being fired from his position in the ER. Now, he takes on covert freelance assignments for the wealthy and powerful, all while cruising around in his classic Mercedes. Though he indulges in a carefree lifestyle and relies on pills, he still grapples with the harsh realities that come with his new line of work.
