Title: The Mystery of the Agitated Auburn Plot: Perry arrives at the location of a fatal shooting, where authorities are retrieving Harry Merrill's lifeless body from a vehicle that plunged down a mountainside. Merrill is discovered with a bullet wound and a pillowcase covering his head. Concurrently, Perry's client, Evelyn Bagby, insists that she was pursued by a masked driver in a car close to the same cliff earlier that day. She fired two shots at his vehicle in an attempt to deter him, but now the police are considering her a suspect in the murder.
