Episode Overview

To the casual observer, Kate Henderson appears to lead a typical life: she's married, has two teenagers, and works in civil service. Yet, unbeknownst to many, Kate actually leads the Russia Desk at the Secret Intelligence Service. When her covert investigations uncover troubling evidence that a prominent UK politician might be a high-ranking Russian informant, Kate finds herself racing against the clock to identify them. Matters worsen when a young woman is brutally murdered, thrusting Kate and her team into the public eye. With her reputation at stake, her family in turmoil, and an impending election, time is not on Kate's side.
