Episode Overview

Title: Tommy & Alyson Plot: Alyson, a talented student and former White House intern, falls into a destructive world of drug abuse after meeting a college boy. Now grappling with an addiction to morphine and crack, she has moved back in with her parents, resorting to stealing painkillers from her terminally ill father while pushing away her mother and sister. Meanwhile, Tommy, a 38-year-old ex-stockbroker, has succumbed to a cocaine addiction that led him to abandon his career, deplete his savings, and sell his upscale condo, leaving him homeless. Both struggle as friends and family, along with professional counselors, urge them to seek rehabilitation.
