Sakuragi is excited to join in on the game, recalling the advice Akagi shared with him the night before. At Ryonan High, Anzai meets the Ryonan coach, Moichi Taoka. Once in the locker room, Anzai reveals the starting lineup, which includes Akagi, Yasuda, Shiozaki, Kogure, and Rukawa.
