Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967)

Episode Overview

Captain Black, a Spectrum officer, launches an assault on a Martian city, provoking the ire of its ghostly residents, the Mysterons. Their initial act of revenge is to target the World President for assassination. In their plot, they eliminate Captain Scarlet, but then revive him, rendering him invulnerable and under their manipulation, while looking just like the original Scarlet. Can Spectrum uncover the deception before it’s too late? Will the seemingly un-killable Scarlet break free from the Mysteron’s hold and become a formidable ally for humanity in this intense "war of nerves"?
