Episode Overview

Theo invites Michael to a medical conference, hoping to break his routine and lift his spirits. There, they encounter Frederick Lizard, an old acquaintance of Theo's, who is eager to recruit him for his organ-finding venture. Frederick suggests that the financial backing he offers could dramatically accelerate Theo's research compared to government funding. Over dinner, Frederick begins to piece together the connection between Theo's "research" and Michael, prompting him to dig deeper into Michael's situation.
