Episode Overview

A young mother is caught stealing at a supermarket and admits to Sgt. Cryer that she owes money to the local loan shark, ‘Aunty’ Peg Miller. Meanwhile, PC Edwards looks into incidents of illegal dumping in the area and suspects that some disgruntled Welsh miners might be involved. Additionally, Mrs. Taylor reports a loud neighbor, but when WPC Ackland arrives to look into the complaint, she discovers the neighbor has died.
