Sledge Hammer! (1986)

Episode Overview

Hammer finally has the chance to meet his hero, a retired detective known for his gritty, old-fashioned approach to crime. He manages to secure the man a position as a security guard at a nearby jewelry store. However, when a robbery occurs, the veteran is injured and sent to a retirement home. Overwhelmed by guilt, Hammer commits to avenging the robbery, unaware that he’s also providing the old detective with an opportunity to reclaim his former glory.
