Inspired by Finn’s guidance, Will unlocks the dormant power inside him. Bathed in a shimmering silver glow, he cuts through the monsters swarming the capital, setting his sights on the Devander. Facing the creature alone, he wields his blade against its mage-slayer weapon. The students who once mocked him watch in awe as he fights. Buoyed by their cheers, Will pushes forward, but the Devander strikes, shattering his sword in two.
