Ray delivers Basara’s Valkyrie to the U.N. Spacy for repairs. While he’s away, Akiko shares with Mylene the story of how she first met Ray, revealing his history as a fighter pilot. During a Varauta assault, Ray is wounded, yet he defies medical advice and sneaks out to retrieve Basara’s Valkyrie, determined to see the mission through.
