In July 1986, estate agent Suzy Lamplugh vanished after heading to Fulham to show a house to a client. Witnesses reported seeing her in a heated argument with a man near the property before she got into a car with him. She was never seen again. Over nearly three decades, police pursued countless leads, including identifying the mysterious “Mr Kipper” she was meant to meet, but all trails went cold. Declared dead in 1994, presumed murdered, the leading theory points to convicted rapist and killer John Cannan, though proof remains elusive. Cannan is serving a life sentence with no chance of release.
