Yousuke runs into an ex-student who once dropped out of the Hayate Air Ninja Academy. Now running a barbecue restaurant, the man tries to convince Yousuke that formal training is a waste of time—and that flipping meat earns a better living than throwing shuriken. He offers Yousuke a job on the spot, challenging his dedication to becoming a ninja.
