Inuyasha and his friends arrive back at Kaede's village to share the news of Kikyo's passing. During their conversation, Kaede suggests that Kagome's abilities may have been suppressed by Magatsuhi, the malevolent force of the Shikon Jewel, which acted out of fear of Kagome's strength.
