Episode Overview

In November 1967, nurse Colleen McMurphy approaches her final week in Vietnam, grappling with the harsh realities of caring for wounded soldiers, the challenging living conditions, and the advances of pilot Natch Austin. The newly established R&R center at the base welcomes USO performers Georgia Lee and Laurette Barber, who aim to uplift the spirits of the troops. Meanwhile, Cherry White, a fresh Red Cross volunteer, arrives with a mission of her own: to locate her missing brother, a marine whose whereabouts remain a mystery.
