Episode Overview

Newly finds himself captivated by a woman he met while helping victims of a tornado. It isn't long before he contemplates proposing to her. However, Doc discovers a peculiar bruise on her arm and notices her unusual fatigue. After examining her, he wrestles with whether to inform Patricia about her rare blood disorder. Before marrying her, he confides in Kitty, Matt, and Newly about the situation. Tragically, she passes away in Newly's arms soon after, driving him to return to his medical studies.
