Wildlife filmmaker Colin Stafford-Johnson follows the trail of Broken Tail, a two-year-old tiger who vanished from India's Ranthambore National Park and met his end under a train a hundred miles away. Riding horseback through Rajasthan, the journey reveals the deep ties between India's past and present and its tigers, introduces them to a reformed poacher, and leads them to Ramgarh sanctuary, once a royal hunting ground. Along the way, they reflect on their most cherished moments with Broken Tail.
