Dougie takes up residence in Grace's garage apartment, revealing himself as a man-child at forty-two who still relies heavily on his mother. Meanwhile, Grace struggles to connect with Quentin, hitting a communication barrier. Libby receives a gift from the sailor she's been corresponding with for a class project and admits to Grace that she has never revealed her real age. Grace insists this deception must end, but it's too late when Sailor Bob shows up at the Kelly's home. In a twist, Grace pretends to be Libby and joins Bob at a Star Trek convention, leaving Libby feeling betrayed. Ultimately, Grace decides to come clean to Bob about the mix-up.
