Billy’s Nan’s funeral is today, so he’s on compassionate leave, with Clingfilm stepping in for him. With Nick in Holland, Carol takes charge, and Pearce gets a promotion to Sub Officer, though it’s clear he’s not thrilled about a woman leading. In Holland, Nick reunites with Marianne, whom we met in season 9, and they share a quiet moment until her pager interrupts them, leading them to a rescue.
