The absence of Bob Harte resonates deeply within the Refuge community. Heimo takes a boat to Bob's cabin to gather his belongings and return them to Bob's family. Meanwhile, Charlie discovers his father's shotgun in a secret stash and sets out to hunt small game. Edna, in her own way of remembering Bob, cooks her cherished dish: caribou head.
