Brendan O'Carroll sets aside his persona, Mrs. Brown, to become a detective on a mission to find the men who killed his grandfather during the Irish War of Independence. Since Brendan never met him—his grandfather was shot before he was born—he relies solely on a newspaper article from that era for leads.
