Robin of Sherwood (1984)

Episode Overview

Mad Mab, a reclusive old woman, thrives in the company of her beloved pigs, particularly her cherished pet Rutterkin. However, Edgar of Huntingdon, Robert's uncle, seizes Rutterkin and subsequently captures Mab, accusing her of witchcraft and claiming that her pig is her familiar. He alleges that they were hired by the Earl, Robert's father, to bring about King John's demise, who is suffering from an unexplained illness. The Earl faces treason charges and is sentenced to death, and in the attempt to save him, most of the outlaw band finds themselves in peril as well.
