Episode Overview

Edward Stratton III embodies the ultimate man-child, fully immersed in his playful lifestyle. His lawyer, Leonard Rollins, delivers the shocking news that his business manager, Lou, claims he’s broke, but Edward is too distracted by a game of PacMan to care. The Stratton mansion resembles an arcade, with video games adorning the walls and a model train that travels throughout the estate. Everything changes when Edward is unexpectedly visited by a blonde 12-year-old named Ricky, who introduces himself as Edward's son—something Edward had no idea about after a brief marriage to Ricky's mother, Evelyn. Meanwhile, Edward's assistant, Kate Summers, suggests he might want to pause on any charitable contributions until his finances improve. Once Ricky uncovers Lou's embezzlement, he pleads with Edward to let him stay with him instead of sending him back to military school.
