Wesley is thrilled to be chosen as the lead in the school play, eagerly preparing for his role. However, when the director unexpectedly resigns, Mr. Belvedere takes over the directing duties. In an effort to improve the production, he makes the tough call to replace Wesley with Tommy Sullivan in the lead role, leaving Wesley feeling abandoned and disappointed.
