After a vampire assaults Shanika, she and Tyson come together once more. Discovering that Eleona might have the information they need to find her mother, Shanika chooses to return to the lair alongside Tyson. Meanwhile, with both of them absent, the Vampire King seizes the opportunity to launch an attack on their community.
