Title: A Fury Beyond My Own Plot: Bitter and vengeful, ex-revolutionary Diego De La Paula rallies his newly-formed liberation army to launch a series of disruptive raids against the extensive territories and livestock of the Cannons and Montoyas. He accuses them of amassing their fortune at the expense of his fallen idol, Maximilian. Recognizing the threat posed by the increasingly dangerous Diego, John Cannon and Don Sebastian Montoya unite to counter the assaults with a clever strategy that culminates in a dramatic showdown between the elder Montoya and the self-proclaimed liberator.
