Episode Overview
Steve pressures Brandon to join the Kappa Epsilon Gamma fraternity, but the brothers are not pleased with his connection to Josh and the Progressives. When the party suggests abolishing all Greek life, Brandon decides to step back, disappointing Steve, though he is still recognized as an honorary member. Meanwhile, Kelly, Donna, Brenda, and Andrea pledge the Alpha Omega sorority. Kelly unexpectedly encounters John Sears, who had previously spread rumors about her during high school. He claims to have changed, leading her to stay out late talking with him after a party that Dylan chose to skip. Andrea’s resident advisor, Dan Rubin, cautions her about potential discrimination, and during a ceremony, the sorority president reprimands Andrea for wearing a star necklace, suggesting she is "making an issue" of her Jewish identity.
