Episode Overview
Brandon forms a friendship with Jerry Rattinger, a prominent sports promoter and beach club member. Meanwhile, he sets his sights on Sandy, an overworked colleague who is significantly older than him. Dylan cautions Brandon that Sandy isn't the best choice for him. Jerry offers Brandon a job as his assistant and proposes lending him money for a new car, leaving Brandon puzzled by Jim's disapproval. When Jerry asks Brandon to drive his wife home, Mrs. Rattinger reveals that Jerry wants her out of the way to pursue Sandy. Disillusioned, Brandon cuts ties with Jerry, who then attempts to get him fired from the club. Meanwhile, Sandy decides to leave town to regain control of her life. Brenda, for her acting class, attempts to recreate a childhood experience of getting lost in a mall.
