Gary Navarro is apprehended for his second attempt on Dennis Ryland's life. Meanwhile, Isabelle, realizing her importance to her mother's safety, tries to take her own life by jumping off the 4400 center building but emerges unharmed. Matthew Ross confronts her about her drastic actions, revealing the heavy fate that lies ahead for her. Disturbed by Matthew's words, Isabelle seeks advice from Shawn and ultimately decides her life choices are hers to make. In a tense moment, Matthew offers her a lethal substance that could end her life if injected.
