Episode Overview

Once Kirara is freed from Ukyo’s grasp, Kambei steps in to assist her, becoming the first samurai to join the cause. Meanwhile, Katsushiro and Kikuchiyo make their way back to the base, where they encounter Gorobei, a street performer. He challenges Katsushiro to a game involving arrows, claiming that winning would lead to Gorobei's demise. Is Gorobei simply boasting, or does he have hidden depths? Tensions rise further when Ayamaro, Ukyo's father, dispatches assassins to hunt down the samurai.
