The Drew Carey Show (1995)

Episode Overview

Drew is temporarily managing the store while handling his usual tasks. He is furious when the company overlooks him for the permanent manager position, opting instead for Nigel Wick, an Englishman who clearly despises Cleveland. Wick forges Drew's signature to implement unpopular cost-saving measures, including scrapping employee discounts. He lures Drew into playing the "villain" by promising a promotion and a new office. However, Drew stands firm when Wick attempts to terminate senior employees just before their pensions vest. Claiming a staff uprising, he inadvertently helps Wick gain favor by reversing all of "Drew's" budget cuts. Meanwhile, Oswald and Lewis scramble to fulfill a significant Buzz Beer order due soon, enlisting local children to bottle and deliver beer, much to Drew's dismay.
