In Brittania, Gabrielle unexpectedly finds herself pregnant and soon delivers a baby girl she names Hope. Xena grapples with a difficult choice as she realizes the child is the daughter of the malevolent god Dahuk. Torn between her instincts to protect the innocent child and the fear of what she represents, Xena struggles to determine whether to safeguard Hope or eliminate her.
