Plot

Once a small-town girl, Nora has since married a prominent scientist and now resides with her family inside the walls of a hidden, elite Moscow research facility. Her mother arrives for her first visit since the wedding, quietly studying the dynamics of the household to discern if her daughter has found true happiness. Through their private talks, the tangled, conflicting threads of their bond slowly surface, exposing the emotional weight beneath their words.
