Plot
Struggling to see a way forward, young fisherman Yong-su feels trapped, like a fish caught in a net. Desperate, he devises an insurance fraud by faking his own disappearance, hoping to secure a brighter future for his Vietnamese wife and aging mother. His captain, Yeong-guk, reluctantly files the missing-person report. But when Yong-su’s mother refuses to accept that his vanishing means death, the simple lie spirals into a tangled web that becomes impossible to escape.
