Plot
In 1919 Fiume, Russian agent Beatrice moves through a city teetering on the edge of chaos, shielding poet Gabriele D’Annunzio from the forces closing in around him. Her path crosses an intelligence chief with his own agenda and a deserter haunted by the Great War, pulling her into a tangle of loyalties and secrets. As Italy’s revolutionary fervor ignites, Beatrice must decide where her true allegiance lies—while the city’s fate teeters with her every choice.
