Plot
Eleven-year-old Rowdy Jonas has his heart set on a summer of countryside adventures with his cool Grandpa Bernard, but his mother has other plans—a seaside trip he dreads. So Jonas sneaks off, hopping a train alone to his grandpa’s village, only to find the old man sulky and withdrawn. Enter Alex, a fearless tomboy neighbor, who teams up with Jonas on a wild scheme to fund their dream raft. Their shady hustle sparks chaos, lands Grandpa in jail for something he didn’t do, and fractures their friendship. Can Jonas untangle the disaster?
