Plot
After barely surviving a suicide attempt that left his family and neighbors convinced he was dead, a man buried in debt seizes the chance to disappear. He begins a new life in a different village, feigning muteness to conceal his identity. Hired by a wealthy employer, he unexpectedly finds himself falling for the man’s daughter, who is genuinely unable to speak.
