Plot

At two years old, Pemba should be striking out on his own, but he’s still clinging to his mother’s side. Impatient and stubborn, he’s hopeless at sneaking up on prey, so Mom does all the hunting. When she’s hurt, Pemba’s comfortable world shatters. Forced to step up, he must shed his boyish ways and learn to fend for them both before hunger takes its toll.
