Plot

A man adrift in frozen time, still mourning the son he lost, finds himself deserted by his wife and suddenly sharing a home with his seventeen-year-old niece, left in his care by his sister. He’s a stranger to love; she’s sworn it off entirely; the girl has never known it at all. As the three wrestle with their own private wounds, fragile shoots of hope begin to surface in hearts as dry as summer sand. A bittersweet portrait of grief, resilience, and quiet redemption.
