Aningaaq (2013)
Plot
Aningaaq, an Inuit fisherman, is camped on the frozen expanse of a fjord, when a two-way radio crackles to life. On the other end is a lone astronaut, adrift in her failing spacecraft, 500 kilometers above the planet. Their languages are mutually unintelligible, yet a shared humanity bridges the void—through the barking of his dogs, the mention of a child, and the heavy silence of mortality, they forge a fleeting, poignant connection that transcends all barriers.
