Plot

In 1596, Anne, a young deaf girl, endures constant cruelty from the household servants. Her only escape is a mysterious, enchanted tree that transports her to the modern world. There, she discovers two compassionate friends, Jo and Rachel, who introduce her to a life-changing technology. Through their kindness, Anne learns to communicate in ways she never dreamed possible, finding the strength and confidence to face her own time with newfound courage and self-belief.
